What will you be doing?

As a Consulting Solutions Architect (CSA) in WWT's Global Service Provider organization, you'll be the architect and technical lead on our most complex customer opportunities. GSP customers include telcos, cable/MSOs, NeoClouds and AI infrastructure providers, data center operators, regional service providers, and gaming and media companies. Many of them are building at a scale and pace most enterprises never see: AI factories, large GPU clusters, global data center footprints, and network modernization programs.

The job is to figure out what the customer actually needs, shape it into something WWT can sell and deliver, and line up the right people to execute it. You'll lead discovery, design the solution, build the scope and commercial model, and stay close enough through kickoff that what we sold is what gets delivered. You will own the architecture, the offering, and the technical credibility.

Responsibilities

Discover and shape

  • Lead discovery sessions, executive workshops, and whiteboard sessions with customer executives, architects, engineering, and operations leaders.
  • Turn customer priorities into qualified WWT opportunities across networking, data center, AI infrastructure, cloud, security, automation, managed services, and Strategic Resourcing.
  • Find whitespace in assigned accounts and work with the account team to go after it, including needs the customer hasn't fully defined yet.

Drive services growth

  • Create services and Strategic Resourcing pipeline, not just support it: find, qualify, and open opportunities, then drive them through each stage in partnership with the Client Executive.
  • Own the services motion on assigned opportunities, from the first conversation through a signed SOW or PO.
  • Attach professional services, managed services, Day 2 operations, and staffing to infrastructure and hardware deals, and grow first projects into follow-on and recurring work.
  • Lead commercial conversations with customer stakeholders on scope, pricing, and terms, and protect margin through scope tradeoffs and change orders.
  • Act as the services lead on accounts without a dedicated services seller, and work closely with services sellers where they're engaged.
  • Forecast services pipeline and GP with the account team, and hit agreed services targets.

Design and build the offering

  • Develop solution architectures, options, roadmaps, and decision criteria that tie technology choices to business outcomes.
  • Own the services scope: write or lead statements of work, ROMs, assumptions, dependencies, and the delivery approach.
  • Build labor, staffing, and pricing models with services, finance, and Strategic Resourcing teams, and pressure-test them for margin and deliverability.
  • Lead or support responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, including technical write-ups and customer defense presentations.
  • Source and evaluate subcontractors and delivery partners, issue partner RFQs, and compare responses on scope, risk, and cost.
  • Use the Advanced Technology Center, labs, proofs of concept, and OEM partners to validate approaches when the stakes justify it.

Orchestrate and hand off

  • Pull together account, services, SC&E, PMO, integration center, Strategic Resourcing, finance, and OEM teams so the customer experiences one WWT.
  • Participate in account planning, APS, pipeline reviews, and QBRs as the architecture lead.
  • Screen and interview engineers, technicians, and project managers for Strategic Resourcing and services engagements so the right people land on the work.
  • Stay engaged through contracting, kickoff, and early delivery on complex engagements; support project managers with technical governance and change requests when the work calls for it.

Build what scales

  • Turn recurring patterns into repeatable offers, reference architectures, scoping tools, and customer-facing content.
  • Share what you're seeing in the market with account teams and the broader CSA community.
  • Build working relationships with strategic OEM and technology partners and with WWT services and delivery leaders.
  • Flag gaps in WWT's portfolio and help close them.

What success looks like in year one

  • Trusted relationships with customer architects and technology executives in your assigned accounts.
  • Qualified services and Strategic Resourcing pipeline that ties back to the account plan.
  • Opportunities that move from shaped to closed, with scopes and pricing that hold up in delivery.
  • Measurable contribution to GP growth across your assigned accounts.
  • Reusable offers, architectures, or scoping tools that other teams actually pick up and use.
