At Remote Team Solutions, we're looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive Staff Accountant to join a growing U.S.-based financial services firm.

This is more than a traditional accounting role. What You'll Do

• Manage general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities
• Perform bank, investment, and vendor reconciliations while proactively resolving discrepancies
• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable using QuickBooks Online and other accounting platforms
• Prepare accurate financial reports and support audit-related processes
• Collaborate with U.S.-based clients and accounting professionals to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows through technology, automation, and AI tools
• Manage multiple accounting priorities across different clients and industries

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and US GAAP
• Experience with general ledger activities, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end close
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and accounting software
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and financial data analysis
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical thinking
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and solve problems proactively
