Content Associate — ArtsRising

As part of the Technology & Production team, the Content Associate turns strategy into real content, campaigns, and marketing materials.


About this role

You'll take full ownership of the content workflow for ArtsRising clients, from start to finish. You'll collaborate directly with the CEO and the VP of Technology Management, working within ArtsRising's established methods and systems.


This isn't about building everything alone from scratch. The methods, systems, and AI tools are already in place — your job is to use them well to produce high-quality work quickly and easily with AI.


What you'll do
  • Run the content production and communication workflow for your assigned clients
  • Create content according to ArtsRising's content methodology and systems
  • Manage a communications calendar using AI tools and automation
  • Serve as the main point of communication for your clients
  • Manage the marketing technology stack for your assigned clients
What we're looking for
  • 2+ years of experience (any field — marketing experience isn't required, but professional work experience is preferred)
  • Someone who has used AI tools at work — in practice we use Claude the most, so experience with Claude is especially welcome
  • Someone who can read and understand English — you'll work with US clients, but it's fine to use translation tools alongside. Sincere communication matters more than perfect English
  • Someone comfortable learning new tools
  • Someone who takes ownership of their work and meets deadlines
  • Someone who can communicate with clients courteously
Nice to have
  • Experience at a nonprofit, arts/cultural institution, or performing arts organization
  • Experience with email marketing tools (Mailchimp, etc.)
  • Experience handling multiple clients as a freelancer or at an agency
  • English communication skills and familiarity with US culture
Terms & conditions

Compensation


  • ₩2.5M–3.5M / month


Contract


  • This is a freelance (contract-for-services) arrangement, not an employment contract
  • The four major insurances are not provided. National Pension and health insurance are your responsibility as a regional subscriber, and you are also responsible for filing your own income tax
  • Contract term will be discussed after confirmation.
  • Either party may end the contract with 30 days' advance notice


Work format


  • 100% remote — you design your own place and hours of work
  • You'll collaborate directly with the CEO and the VP of Technology Management
  • One to two company retreats a year, held in Korea or the US
