We’re looking for a Content Creator to join our team at Virgin Experience Days.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENT: Skip the cover letter!
As part of your application, please include a link to a 30-second vertical video (TikTok/Reel style) answering:
"What’s the most 'anti-ordinary' experience gift you’ve ever given or received - and why did it beat a physical present?"
Show us your on-camera energy, storytelling, and short-form editing skills in action!

About the role

We're looking for a Content Creator to be the creative energy behind Virgin Experience Days' UK social content; someone who's already living and breathing social platforms as a content creator themselves, and who instinctively knows how to insert a brand into cultural conversations.

This is a hands-on, on-camera role, and the variety is real. You’ll need to be as comfortable thinking up new, creative ideas as you are managing schedules and processes. One day you’ll be out experiencing one of our experiences yourself and capturing it live; another day you'll be pulling people from the team into an employee-generated video responding to whatever's trending that week.

You'll work with the wider Marketing and Commercial team to align content priorities with commercial priorities, and bring the creative execution — from shoot through to a finished, publish-ready piece of content.

This is a permanent, full-time role with hybrid working - Tuesdays in the office, and a minimum of one extra day either in-office or on shoot. Our office is in Bourne End (Buckinghamshire, SL8 5YS)

What you'll do:

Content Creation & On-Camera

  • Be a genuine, high-energy on-camera presence for Virgin Experience Days — an authentic face of the brand across UK social content

  • Own the ideation and creation of social-first content that brings our brand and commercial priorities to life.

  • Produce, shoot and edit content across a wide range of outputs — behind-the-scenes features, short social reels, paid ads, brand campaigns, and more

  • Cover a genuinely varied slate of formats: from first-person experience content (attending and capturing our own experiences) and employee-generated, trend-reactive content, to interviews with our CEO

  • Bring a natural sense of hooks and pacing, translating trends and formats into content that feels native to the brand

  • Work with the Social & Influencer Specialist, inputting to the plan for the organic social content calendar

  • Edit content to a strong, platform-native standard. You should be comfortable producing polished, ready-to-publish content using accessible tools (e.g. CapCut, InShot, native platform editors)

Cultural & Trend Fluency

  • Stay immersed in TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube trends, audio, and formats, spotting opportunities to insert the brand into live cultural conversations

  • Bring genuine platform instinct: an understanding of what performs and why

  • Maintaining and growing your own nano/micro-influencer social presence is a benefit, although not required

Talent Direction & Energy

  • Direct social content shoots — guiding talent, structuring shots, and capturing footage built to perform

  • Bring the kind of high-energy, comfortable-on-camera personality that puts colleagues or contributors at ease

Delivery & Organisation

  • Work with internal teams to clearly understand wider business priorities and translate them into content that feels authentic and native to organic social channels

  • Maximise the value of every shoot by producing scalable content for ongoing testing and iteration

  • Own the organisation of the UK social video content library, keeping it easy for the wider team to access and use

  • Track and measure organic content performance to KPIs and iterate on successes to drive continuous improvements

  • Work with the Paid Media team to create content optimised for commercial KPIs

What you'll need:

  • Existing experience producing content as a creator

  • Understanding of what works on different social platforms, and the ability to translate in-platform data to business KPIs

  • A high-energy on-camera presence, and the ability to bring others out of their shell in front of a camera

  • Deeply embedded in social and cultural trends — someone who spots a moment and knows how to make it work for the brand, quickly

  • Comfortable editing to a strong standard using accessible tools; advanced Adobe Suite skills are a bonus, not a requirement

  • Collaborative and responsive to brief — able to work from someone else's commercial and campaign priorities while keeping content feeling authentic

Perks to make work feel less ordinary:

  • Time for you: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to buy or sell up to 2 days each year

  • Freedom to work your way: 2 days in-office (Tuesday is a mandatory in-office day), Flexi-working hours around our core 10-4, so your day works for you (8.5 hours per day with a 1 hour lunch)

  • Wellbeing that works: Access to an award-winning employee assistance programme; Health Plan cover (plus family add-ons) with cash back for a variety of health & wellbeing costs; Cycle to Work and Electric Vehicle schemes (post probation).

  • Future proofing you (and your finances): Company pension (5% you, 3% us) after 3 months; Discretionary bonus and life assurance after probation.

  • Giving back & all the anti-ordinary extras: 2 volunteer days each year; Free breakfast when in the office; Personal re-loadable multi-choice gift card (topped up on your birthday, lifetime milestones and internal celebrations); Yearly £150 experience voucher; Discounts on experiences and across the Virgin Group; Refer a Friend bonus and generous team celebrations throughout the year.
