Content Editor

We are a CPA firm operating 16 websites across our brand portfolio, with organic search serving as our primary growth engine outside of tax season. You will join a focused, agile SEO team led by our SEO Manager in a fully remote setup.

This role requires active real-time collaboration and attendance in daily team syncs (overlapping with US business hours), requiring your complete professional dedication during working hours. It is not suitable for candidates attempting to balance freelance work, side gigs, or secondary employment.

We are seeking a professional who can fully commit their working hours, thrive in a high-demand environment, and communicate with exceptional written and spoken English.

Type: 2-Month Contract (with potential to transition to permanent)

Role Overview

Working alongside our team, you will help clear a backlog of approximately 1,000 pages requiring rewrites. Since our current writing team is at full capacity, you will actively write and edit content yourself.

What You Will Do

• Rewrite existing tax articles using AI tools, carefully editing the output so the final copy reads naturally as if written by a human.
• Maintain a steady production output of 50 completed rewrites per week (approx. 10 per workday).
• Execute each page according to its specific SEO brief, incorporating target keywords, headings, internal links, and meta titles/descriptions.
• Verify tax facts against official IRS sources and flag any uncertainties for expert review.
• Collaborate directly with our content editor and writing team to maintain consistent quality standards.

Requirements (Must Have)

• Full professional proficiency in English (C2 - Native-level)
• AI Writing Proficiency: Proven experience in AI-assisted writing with human-level editing skills (submission of two before-and-after samples is required).
• Speed & Consistency: Ability to deliver 10 high-quality pages per day on a steady schedule.
• Strong Editorial Skills: Mastery over content structure, clarity, and tone.

Nice to Have

• Writing experience in tax, finance, or accounting.
• Solid understanding of SEO content fundamentals (search intent, on-page structure).
• Hands-on experience working within a website CMS.
