Your Role


Reporting to the Director, Kids’ Camp; Youth Programming, you will manage a portfolio of TV series.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee assigned series by providing guidance, fostering close collaboration and maintaining regular communication with creators, independent producers, creative teams and internal Radio-Canada departments.
  • Represent the Radio-Canada Kids’ Camp; Youth Programming department at official functions and in your professional communications.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with producers, distributors, creative collaborators, crew members and production teams.
  • Collaborate effectively and contribute positively as part of a team.

This is a one (1) year full-time contract position.


This is a hybrid role with a mix of in-office and remote work. Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines.


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum five (5) years’ television industry experience, including the development and oversight of kids’ and youth series.
  • Deep understanding of young audiences, including their media consumption habits, interests and preferences.
  • Familiarity with the TV production industry in Quebec and other relevant markets.
  • Proven ability to maintain editorial vision and creative alignment across all stages of production.
  • Strong analytical skills for evaluating story elements, scripts and edits in both live-action and animation.
  • Solid interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build positive relationships.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • In-depth understanding of CBC/Radio-Canada’s organizational culture, programming and strategic priorities.
  • Excellent written French.
  • Fluency in English with strong written and spoken communication skills (bilingualism).
