RouteLift is a last-mile logistics platform built for social commerce and e-commerce merchants. We deliver across Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, and Ibadan. We serve two audiences: merchants who need reliable deliveries, and riders who earn a living delivering them. Our content speaks to both.
You will create short-form video and supporting content for RouteLift, and you will help decide what we make. This is not a role where you receive a script and film it. You are expected to bring ideas, shoot, edit, publish, and learn from the results.
- Plan, shoot, and edit short-form videos (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, WhatsApp, LinkedIn) for merchants, riders, and the wider brand
- Pitch content ideas every week, based on what merchants and riders care about
- Work with the Content Marketing Manager to turn campaign goals into a content plan
- Capture real stories from the field: merchants, riders, deliveries, ops
- Write captions, hooks, and short scripts for your own videos
- Track what performs and tell the team what to make more or less of
- Repurpose one idea into several formats
- A portfolio of at least 5 short-form videos you shot and edited yourself (we will ask to see them)
- Fluency with a mobile or desktop editor such as CapCut, Premiere, or similar
- Solid writing in English. Pidgin and local language ability is a plus
- Good judgment about what makes a post worth watching
- Equipment to shoot decent video: a capable phone, basic lighting and audio
- Reliable internet and the discipline to work remotely
- Willingness to travel within your city for shoots when needed
- Experience with brands in logistics, e-commerce, fintech, or social commerce
- Basic motion graphics or animation skills
- Comfort being on camera
- Understanding of how social platforms rank and distribute content
