Content Review - Operations Manager

Our client, a world leader in diagnostics and life sciences, is looking for a "Content Review Operations Manager - Hybrid " based out of South San Francisco, CA.

Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Conversion & Extension)

Pay Rate : $70/hr on W2

Job Responsibilities:

The Content Review Operations Manager will manage and execute end-to-end medical, legal, and regulatory (MLR) review processes for promotional and medical content within a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment. This role will ensure content moves efficiently, compliantly, and transparently through the review and approval lifecycle while maintaining audit readiness and supporting timely delivery of high-quality content.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) content review processes, ensuring compliance with SOPs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  
• Develop Content Review Operations plans, manage resources, and optimize workflows to support business and product priorities.
  
• Coordinate submission validation, agenda preparation, review meetings, follow-ups, approval tracking, and material flow throughout the content lifecycle.
  
• Validate and maintain content metadata, business rules, and modular content standards across campaigns and enterprise content programs.
  
• Identify process gaps, risks, and compliance issues while maintaining audit trails, review documentation, and governance records.
  
• Partner with content owners, agencies, review teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve efficiency, leverage technology, and support timely content approvals.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years of cross-functional stakeholder managementexperience.
  
• 3+ years in content operations, digital asset management, marketing operations, content review/approval, compliance, or governance.
  
• Hands-on experience with Veeva Vault PromoMats (VVPM) or comparable content management and review/approval platforms.
  
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or another highly regulated industry with knowledge of compliance requirements.
  
• Understanding of medical and marketing content lifecycles, MLR review processes, and regulatory compliance.
  
• Strong program management, communication, facilitation, process improvement, and stakeholder management skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
