Content Writing Team Lead (Remote Optional) We are looking for a Content Team Lead, that is a hybrid SEO strategist , editor, and project manager. You would lead a small to medium-sized team of talented writers and editors to accomplish specific business objectives. Looking for a leader that prefer "being in the trenches" with their team to really understand our readers and their pain points. Background in FinTech a big plus! As our Content Writer Team Lead, you would be accountable for the results of their team. They use data from Google Analytics, Ahrefs, and Hubspot to make informed decisions about content and where to lead their team next. Collaboration with other Content Team Leads is necessary to share successes and failures that can benefit the broader content team. It's up to you to find opportunities and develop new strategies, but you are given the resources, team, and tools to meet and exceed your goals. What growth looks like as a Content Team Lead Every Content Team Lead starts out as an individual contributor, writing high complexity articles to understand the audience and content principles. Once you've mastered writing, you'll lead writers and editors on high impact content projects. Depending on your project and people management experience, you could manage a team as small as three or as large as 15. Eventually, you can grow to a point where you train and develop new team leads to take over the systems and processes you've built, allowing you to work on even higher leverage projects that drive value for our readers and the business. Our preferred candidate has the ability to: -Collaborate and enter into thoughtful discussions at every stage of the editorial process. -Write content that is clear, easy to read, and more engaging with the ability to communicate complex topics in ways that are relatable and understandable. -Bring unique, thoughtful insights based on in-depth research, data analysis, or reporting. -Turn readers into valuable customers while managing deadlines. -Work on a variety of projects within a dynamic environment.
