Job Summary
The Contracts Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight and guidance of the contracts administration of assigned contracts in support of Engineering business units.
Primary Job Functions
-
Develop, review, and conduct strategic and sensitive oral and written communications with government contracts and program management functions.

Review contractual documents and proposals to ensure adherence to company policy, FAR, DFAR, government specifications, and requirements.

Lead customer-facing discussions and negotiations, demonstrating strong acumen for customer relationship management in highly complex contract environments.

Advise internal customers and management on contractual rights and obligations and provide interpretation of contract terms and conditions.

Provide leadership in contract execution, anticipate and resolve problems, and ensure inter-group communication and cooperation. Assess issues and risks and develop solutions.

Ensure compliance with all government contract requirements, internal policies, and all applicable federal, state, and other laws.

Assist in the preparation and review/approval of TINA-covered cost proposals and narratives for contract proposals and changes.

Work closely with Legal, functional counterparts, and company leadership.

Support special projects assigned by the Managing Director of Contracts, manage company data calls, and coordinate responses to internal and external audits.
Education, Experience and Certification
Education
Required

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Experience
Required
-
5 years of experience with a thorough understanding and broad application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards in contract administration.

Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned contracts, including FAR, TINA, and CAS.
Preferred
-
Experience with FAR Part 36 construction contracting.
License/Certification
Preferred
-
CFCM and/or CPCM certification is a plus.

Salary: $135,000
Travel Requirements
Up to 5% travel may be required away from the employee’s primary work location.
