This is a hands-on role focused on the day-to-day administration and performance of site-based contracts across maintenance, mining, civil works, and logistics at CSA Mine. You will work closely with site-based contract owners, contractors, and the broader Harmony Australasia Procurement and Supply Chain teams to keep contracts compliant, commercially sound, and delivering value.

Roster

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, at our Brisbane office with the option to WFH 2 days per week. Travel to CSA Mine will be required from time to time.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement effective contract management systems and practices for site-based contracts across maintenance, mining, civil works, and logistics, to ensure service delivery by contractors is in accordance with contract and standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to contract coordinators.
  • Assist site-based contract owners to prepare Scopes of Work and assess supplier capability/capacity for use in competitive sourcing processes run by the Procurement team.
  • Engage regularly with contractors and contract owners to ensure effective and timely progress-claim review, approval, dispute resolution, and cost control — managing day-to-day issues, KPI reporting, business improvement, scope writing, new scope/variation management, and scope creep.
  • Ensure service delivery by CSA Mine personnel is in accordance with the obligations of the contract
  • Draft and manage the approval process for contractual correspondence to support CSA contract owners.
  • Be a key member of Tender Evaluation teams and assist in the preparation of Recommendations to Award.
  • Engage internal stakeholders — including end-users, Purchasing, Logistics, and Inventory — and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Act as a key conduit between the site-based teams and the broader Harmony Procurement and Supply Chain teams on all procurement and supply chain matters.

Qualifications

About You:

You will be a self-motivated professional who works efficiently and collaboratively in a team environment, with the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, law, or commerce (or equivalent relevant experience), with demonstrated contract-management experience in the civil or mining industries.
  • Solid experience in contract management
  • Sound knowledge of Pronto (or a similar ERP) and Microsoft products, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent stakeholder-engagement and negotiation skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail.
  • Experience in underground and/or copper mining operations (desirable).
  • NSW / Australian heavy-industry or resources-sector experience (desirable).

Benefits

  • Competitive salary including eligibility to participate in quarterly bonus.
  • Opportunity to grow your career within a dynamic international organisation.
  • Health and wellbeing initiatives, including access to gym and pool facilities to our employees and their dependants in Cobar.
  • Join a business that is growing in Australia and exposed to the high growth commodities of copper and gold.
