EU Digital Policy, AI, Digital Euro & Space Regulation
The Role
EU Policy Insight is seeking Master's graduates, researchers and early-career policy professionals to join our research team as Volunteer Contributors / Policy Analysts.
Contributors will conduct independent policy research and produce analytical publications on emerging EU regulatory and policy developments, including:
EU Digital Policy and digital regulation
Digital Euro and EU payments regulation
AI Act and artificial intelligence regulation
Data Act, data governance and data intermediation
Digital Services Act (DSA) and Digital Markets Act (DMA)
Cybersecurity and European digital sovereignty
EU Space Act and European space regulation
Space sustainability, security and resilience
AI, technology and space regulation
Responsibilities
Conduct research using EU legislation, EUR-Lex, European Commission, ECB and other institutional sources.
Develop research topics and policy questions.
Write policy briefs, analytical articles and research notes.
Contribute to EU Policy Insight research projects and publications.
Assist with editorial review, fact-checking and source verification.
Review research submitted by other contributors where appropriate.
Work with the editorial team to improve structure, clarity and analytical quality.
Maintain accurate references and supporting documentation.
Contribute to the development of our digital research library and policy resources.

What You Will Gain

Early-career policy analysts
Graduates in law, political science, economics, public policy, international relations, technology policy, space law or related fields.
Candidates should demonstrate strong research and analytical skills, excellent written English and a genuine interest in European policy and regulation.
