Controller

Position Summary: America’s Home Health Services is seeking a highly skilled and analytical Controller to oversee all financial operations for two affiliated sister companies. This role requires a strong background in home health and home care, with the ability to manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in navigating the financial complexities of healthcare organizations, particularly within the home health and home care sectors. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all financial functions for two sister companies, including accounting, reporting, and financial analysis Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes Monitor cash flow, revenue cycle, and overall financial performance Ensure compliance with federal, state, and industry regulations specific to home health and home care Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth Partner with leadership to support strategic planning and business decisions Oversee billing, reimbursement, and payer mix analysis (Medicare, Medicaid, private pay, etc.) Implement and maintain internal controls and financial policies Manage audits and coordinate with external accountants or auditors as needed Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred) Minimum of 5+ years of financial management experience in home health and home care (required) Strong knowledge of healthcare reimbursement models and regulations Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and business analysis Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple entities and priorities effectively Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Schedule & Compensation: Full-time position Competitive salary based on experience Why Join AHHS?
