We’re seeking an experienced, hands-on Contract Controller to join the Quantum team and make an immediate impact supporting a manufacturing client in Noblesville, Indiana. This flexible engagement is expected to last approximately four months, with the possibility of an extension, and requires the ability to work onsite one day per week as needed. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in manufacturing and cost accounting and is ready to jump in, solve problems, and strengthen financial operations. Position Overview Reporting to the CFO, the Contract Controller will lead accounting and financial operations, strengthen reporting and internal controls, and provide practical financial insights to business leaders. The ideal candidate is comfortable balancing strategic initiatives with hands-on accounting responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. What You’ll Do Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes and ensure accurate financial reporting. Improve accounting processes and systems to increase accuracy, efficiency, and scalability. Provide leadership and support to the accounting team and complete additional finance projects as needed. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. At least eight years of progressive accounting experience, including Controller-level or comparable leadership responsibility. Strong manufacturing and cost accounting experience, including inventory, costing, COGS, overhead, and variance analysis. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, close management, and internal controls. Experience partnering with CFOs, executive leaders, and operational teams. Advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting-system experience. Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work onsite in Noblesville one day per week. Preferred Qualifications CPA or CMA designation. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Experience with process improvement, system implementation, acquisition integration, or financial transformation projects. Ready to Make an Impact? If you are a hands-on financial leader who enjoys solving problems and improving business performance, we would love to hear from you!
