As a Controller Analyst at Nubank, you will bridge the gap between traditional financial operations and cutting-edge technology. This is a full-time opportunity where you will support and execute the accounting closing flows and help optimize processes through automation and data analysis. You will partner with platform teams to implement projects that increase the efficiency and scalability of our controlling operations. The role offers autonomy to influence and enhance our financial processes, combining your financial expertise with support for technical solutions. You’ll be Responsible for You will be responsible for promoting and developing continuous improvement actions with the controllership team with the aim of improving and standardizing processes and generating efficiency through automation. Analyze and map existing processes in order to identify business processes that can be automated using the tools available in Nu. Work together with data and product teams to design financial processes, indicating the most efficient way to store information for application in accounting routines (closings, Financial Statements, regulatory reports, etc.); Will contribute to the maintenance of Nubank's core products, analyzing unexpected behaviors, bugs and dealing with complex databases; Will improve the accounting closing process, looking for opportunities of automations and controls.. Contribute to the preparation of financial statements for Nubank products. What We're Looking For Someone Who Has A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced English proficiency — able to participate in meetings, read and write documents, and deliver presentations to diverse teams. Prior experience with banking products such as Debit Cards, Checking Accounts, PIX, Barcodes, and similar offerings. Strong analytical skills and strategic planning capabilities, with the ability to support the understanding and standardization of global business processes. Adaptable and assertive communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders including Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Data teams. Familiarity with local accounting regulations in Brazil (BR), Mexico (MX), or Colombia (COL), as well as IFRS, is a plus. Desirable knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Scala, and Python is a plus, along with a genuine interest in further developing data skills.
