Overview
The Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist plays a critical role in improving inquiry rates across the organization's paid media landing pages. Reporting to the CRO Manager, this role is responsible for proposing, testing, and implementing strategic optimizations using behavioral analytics, A/B testing tools, and first-party funnel data. This role evaluates paid-media landing pages, synthesizes behavioral and user research, identifies conversion barriers, develops evidence-based recommendations, and manages assigned initiatives.
Pay Range: $75,000 - $85,000

Responsibilities
- Execute assigned landing page optimization initiatives
- Apply structured heuristic evaluations to identify conversion barriers and improvement opportunities
- Analyze analytics, behavioral data, paid-media performance, and user research
- Consolidate findings into clear themes, problem statements, hypotheses, and recommendations
- Maintain the experimentation backlog, research repository, and decision records
- Coordinate requirements, UX design, development, implementation, QA, launch, and measurement
- Identify and advance high-confidence quick wins alongside controlled experiments
- Validate message match between paid-media campaigns, visitor intent and landing-page content
- Prepare concise slide decks communicating findings, recommendation, results and next steps
- Document wins, losses, and inclusive test as reusable program learning
- Ensure accuracy across tracking, data entry, reporting and experiment documentation
- Support visit-to-inquiry improvement while monitoring downstream lead-quality indicators
- Stay current on experimentation best practices, competitor trends and test ideation frameworks
- Partner with CRO, UX, development, paid-media, and agency stakeholders to advance assigned initiatives

Qualifications
Education / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field or equivalent experience (required)
- Minimum of three years of experience in a conversion rate optimization, digital marketing, or performance UX role (required)
- Hands-on A/B testing experience (required)
- Prior experience in a similar role at an advertising agency (preferred)
- Proficient in GA4 and behavioral analytics tools (Hotjar, Contentsquare) (preferred)
- Knowledge base and experience should include HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern component-based web development
- Familiarity with Optimizely, VWO, Uniform, or other experimentation platform
Licenses / Certifications
- CXL CRO Mini Degree (preferred)
- Meclabs MEC100 Certificate (preferred)

Work Environment
- Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment when on site at assigned company location. Employees must be able to safely ambulate when on company premises.
