Job Description:
We are looking for UK Conveyancers (Junior to Mid) to support residential property transactions from instruction through to completion and post-completion.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working within UK conveyancing, with a strong understanding of the processes, documentation, and compliance requirements involved in property transactions. The successful candidate should be comfortable managing conveyancing matters with a high degree of independence while maintaining excellent communication with clients, solicitors, lenders, estate agents, and other relevant parties.
Responsibilities:
Manage and support residential conveyancing transactions from initial instruction through exchange, completion, and post-completion.
Handle purchase, sale, and remortgage matters in accordance with applicable UK conveyancing procedures.
Draft, prepare, review, and organize conveyancing documentation and correspondence.
Review contracts, title documentation, property searches, and supporting transaction documents.
Raise and respond to conveyancing enquiries and identify matters requiring further legal review.
Order, review, and manage property searches and other required reports.
Liaise with clients, solicitors, estate agents, lenders, and other parties to progress transactions efficiently.
Assist with exchange and completion processes, ensuring documentation and key deadlines are properly managed.
Support post-completion requirements, including relevant submissions and registration processes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date matter files, records, and case management systems.
Monitor deadlines and proactively follow up on outstanding documentation and enquiries.
Ensure work is completed accurately and in accordance with relevant compliance and client-service requirements.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated professional experience handling UK conveyancing matters.
Strong knowledge of residential property transactions and UK conveyancing processes.
Experience handling or supporting property purchases, sales, and remortgages.
Experience reviewing contracts, title documents, searches, enquiries, and other conveyancing documentation.
Familiarity with exchange, completion, and post-completion processes.
Strong legal drafting, document review, and administrative skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues within property documentation.
Strong organizational and matter-management skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Ability to communicate professionally with clients, solicitors, lenders, estate agents, and other stakeholders.
Experience using conveyancing or legal case management systems is desirable.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively with a distributed legal team.
