Job Description We are seeking an experienced Property & Dispute Resolution Paralegal to support our client's legal team across a broad range of property law and dispute resolution matters within the Victorian jurisdiction. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience assisting with residential and commercial property transactions, property disputes, conveyancing support, and litigation-related matters. Experience with Victorian stamp duty requirements and exposure to Wills & Estates is highly desirable. The successful candidate will possess strong legal administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple matters while delivering exceptional client service. Responsibilities Assist with residential and commercial conveyancing matters from instruction through to settlement. Assist lawyers in matters involving Boundary disputes,Easements and rights of way,Adverse possession,Fencing disputes,Encroachments,Covenants and restrictive agreements,Land access issues. Organise briefs for counsel and expert witnesses including surveyors and valuers. Prepare settlement statements and coordinate electronic settlements using PEXA Liaise with clients, real estate agents, financial institutions, surveyors, and external stakeholders. Assist with matters relating to Victorian stamp duty, land tax, and property registration requirements. Support lawyers with Wills & Estates matters, including estate administration and property transfers where required. Conduct legal and property research. Maintain accurate legal files, precedents, and document management systems. Assist with billing, file administration, and general legal support. Qualifications Diploma or degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant in property law and/or dispute resolution. Previous experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant in property law. Strong understanding of Victorian conveyancing processes and property transactions. Experience with Victorian stamp duty requirements is highly desirable. Exposure to Wills & Estates, including estate administration or property transfers, is an advantage. Experience supporting property litigation or dispute resolution matters is preferred. Excellent legal drafting, organizational, and document management skills. Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills. Strong written and verbal English communication skills. Experience using legal practice management software such as Clio is advantageous.
