Coordinator of Volunteers

Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteers is a part-time, remote role responsible for organizing, supporting, and engaging volunteers who contribute to Asterix Accessories’ community initiatives and company projects. Day-to-day tasks include recruiting volunteers, onboarding and training them, scheduling assignments, and maintaining clear and consistent communication. The role involves monitoring volunteer activities, offering guidance and feedback, and ensuring that volunteers have the resources they need to succeed. The Coordinator of Volunteers will also assist with community outreach campaigns, help develop volunteer-related materials, and track participation and impact. This position collaborates with internal teams to align volunteer efforts with organizational goals while promoting an inclusive and positive volunteer experience.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong volunteer management skills, including experience with Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training.
• Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills and Communication abilities to build trust and maintain productive relationships with volunteers and team members.
• Candidates should possess experience with Community Outreach and engagement initiatives to support partnerships and public-facing activities.
• Candidates should possess strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple volunteer schedules and projects in a remote environment.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with basic digital tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, online meeting platforms) and the ability to learn new systems as needed.
• Prior experience in volunteer coordination, nonprofit work, or community programs is beneficial; education or training in social sciences, communications, or related fields is an asset.
