Starting Salary: $50,000 - $54,000 annually. This is the starting salary range for this role and may vary based on internal equity, and a candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Over and above the base salary and the benefits highlighted above, this position is also eligible for an incentive bonus of up to 5% of the annual salary.
Position Summary
- Act as a Tourism Whistler ambassador, living our purpose and vision with passion & energy, achievement, and respect.
- Support the setup and fulfillment of products and offers sold through the Whistler.com website and call centre.
- Maintain accurate product information, pricing, and inventory availability within reservation systems and supplier extranets.
- Conduct regular inventory, website functionality, and rate parity audits to ensure products are displayed accurately and consistently across sales channels.
- Administer online bookings and respond to inquiries received through the Sales Operations mailbox accurately and promptly.
- Process and reconcile supplier invoices, payments, credits, refunds, and daily cash transactions.
- Prepare and respond to credit card chargebacks and payment disputes within required timelines.
- Work with the Accountant to investigate payment issues and maintain accurate product and financial settings.
- Complete daily and monthly administrative duties and provide operational support across the Sales Operations, Finance, and broader Whistler.com teams as required.
- Strong attention to detail, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
- Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and work toward practical solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and the ability to learn reservation, payment, and supplier systems
- Motivated, resourceful, and able to take initiative while working effectively both independently and as part of a team
