Job Summary
The Coordinator contributes to the success of the Trade Team by supporting the communication strategies and network activations which will enable interactions with stakeholders (TAP alumni, Local SME’s, and the startup community) and further the goals of CED to grow businesses and careers in Calgary.
This role will also support all logistics and coordination for programs such as TAP, Level Up modules, Global Trade Classrooms, Trade Talks etc.
This is a full-time contract position.
Key Responsibilities
- Support TAP and Level UP community and funnel development as well as programming including attending community events
- Collaborate with the Trade coordinator on the planning and hosting
of export meetups
- Curate and plan TAP Alumni communications including Slack channel and success stories
- Identify potential recruitment opportunities for Calgary and Southern Alberta Trade
Accelerator Program Cohorts (virtual and in person events, media, publications, speaking opportunities). - Accountable for direct recruitments to the TAP cohorts.
- Manage the tracking and updates of alumni
- Curate informative and engaging communication for the TAP and Level Up
alumni
- Collaborate with Marketing & Communications
on TAP
and level up recruitment and alumni
engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with the Trade Programs Manager and Specialist on monthly reporting including tracking KPI’s,
grant funding and CRM. - Build event collateral, pre- and post-surveys,
administration, and digital and in person cohort IT support. - Develop an events calendar to support and build the TAP and Level UP community
- Oversee logistics, timing, advertising/marketing and event communications

Education
Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Trade or a similar field
Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role

- Demonstrated ability to establish priorities for own workload based upon need for immediate action, work objectives and schedules requiring independent judgment.
