Copywriter - Paid Social Media Ad Creative

We’re looking for a Paid Social Media Ad Creative Copywriter who can turn complex manufacturing capabilities into sharp, scroll-stopping copy. You’ll write headlines, captions, and ad variations that make on-demand manufacturing feel urgent, credible, and easy to act on across paid social for both the Xometry and Thomas brands Reporting to the Creative Director, you’ll work closely with designers, media buyers, and the brand team, pairing strong creative instincts with a data-informed approach. You’ll iterate quickly on what performs and build a copy toolkit that scales across campaigns and channels How You’ll Contribute: ● Paid Social Copywriting: ○ Write high-performing ad copy for paid social platforms including Meta, LinkedIn, and beyond across both Xometry and Thomas ○ Develop headlines, captions, CTAs, and copy variations designed for A/B testing ○ Translate complex engineering and manufacturing concepts into clear, compelling, social-first messaging for engineers, procurement professionals, and manufacturing leaders ● Creative Collaboration: ○ Partner with designers and media buyers to align copy with visuals and campaign objectives ○ Collaborate with Product, Content, and Lifecycle Marketing to ensure social messaging aligns with broader campaign strategy and brand voice ○ Maintain consistency in brand voice and tone across social channels and formats ● Performance & Optimization: ○ Iterate quickly on copy based on performance data and testing results ○ Apply a data-informed approach to copy development, testing, and optimization ○ Contribute to messaging frameworks, swipe files, and copy templates that support scalable content production ● AI & Innovation: ○ Build and use Claude Skills or comparable custom AI workflows to accelerate copy production, testing, and quality assurance ○ Develop reusable AI workflows that improve the efficiency and consistency of creative production ○ Stay current on social platform trends, advertising formats, AI capabilities, and emerging best practices What You’ll Bring to Xometry: ● Experience: 4+ years of experience writing performance-driven copy for paid and/or organic social media ● Copywriting Craft: Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality social ad copy and the ability to create clear, compelling messaging from complex concepts ● B2B Communication: Excellent English grammar, editing, and messaging skills with the ability to communicate effectively with B2B audiences ● Technical Communication: Ability to simplify technical, engineering, or complex manufacturing concepts into engaging social-first messaging ● Social Media Expertise: Familiarity with major social platforms, advertising formats, and creative specifications ● Performance Mindset: Understanding of A/B testing and paid social performance metrics such as CTR, CPA, and ROAS, as well as adjacent performance metrics such as CVR and open rate ● AI & Technical Fluency: Experience using AI tools and the ability to build Claude Skills or comparable custom AI workflows and agents that can scale copy production ● Project Management: Demonstrated project management, organization, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple creative projects and deadlines ● Collaboration: Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills with designers, media buyers, marketers, product teams, and other stakeholders ● Ownership: Ability to take ownership from creative brief through published ad and performance iteration Preferred: ● Experience in B2B, technology, or manufacturing marketing, with experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sectors specifically considered a plus ● Track record of shipping multiple Claude Skills or AI workflows into an active production or creative pipeline #LI-Remote #Promoted Xometry is an equal opportunity employer.
