Scheduling & Logistics:
- Work arrangement is hybrid, with three days in office and two
- days remote per week.
- Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.
- to 5:00 p.m.
- There is no on-call requirement for this position.

Job Summary:
Responsible for writing engaging and clear copy for a variety of audiences among a range of materials to be communicated across multiple advertising and communication channels. Uses research and knowledge of project’s goals and objectives to ensure copy drives intended results. Collaborates with multiple teams across disciplines and uses latest trends across the different channels/platforms to deliver primary and secondary messages.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Writes original copy and edit content for a range of marketing and communications materials and a wide range of media including print, broadcast, digital, direct mail, publications, and other features.
- Interprets creative briefs to develop concepts for application with assigned projects.
- Researches and understands project sponsor/clients’ needs and intended audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject-matter experts, and meetings.
- Ensures copy is written in brand voice, adheres to brand standards and with intended audience in mind.
- Revises copy based on project sponsor and client feedback.
- Collaborates with creative team, from concept development to delivery of final product.
- Presents copy concepts and final deliverables to project sponsors and to project sponsors’ client representatives when requested. Participates in project sponsor and client representative pitches.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or closely related field
EXPERIENCE
- Five years' experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
- Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
- Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
- Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
- Rare climbing.
