Core Services Technical Lead - Enterprise Command Centre

We are looking for an experienced Core Services Technical Lead with a strong background in Identity and Access Management (IAM), enterprise infrastructure and IT operations to lead complex initiatives within a large-scale transformation programme.

The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end delivery of IAM-related transformation projects, ensuring technical excellence, effective governance, service continuity and alignment with strategic objectives.

A key focus will be on identity infrastructure modernisation, including MFA implementations, Okta-to-Microsoft Entra ID migrations and Active Directory transitions to cloud-based environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Identity and Core Services transformation initiatives, from scoping and planning to testing, deployment and service transition.
• Manage IAM transformation projects, including MFA implementation, Okta-to-Entra ID migrations and Active Directory modernisation.
• Oversee identity infrastructure and foundational services, ensuring security, reliability and operational readiness.
• Manage service roadmaps, project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks and issues.
• Maintain RAID logs, status reports and project documentation, ensuring transparent governance and timely escalation.
• Coordinate stakeholders across Identity, Security, Infrastructure, Architecture, Operations and business teams.
• Ensure effective financial control, resource planning and delivery governance across workstreams.
• Support service transition, operational handover and continuous improvement within distributed international teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of IT experience, ideally 15+ years in technical leadership or enterprise technology delivery.
• Proven experience leading IAM-related transformation initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of identity foundations, including Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, MFA, Okta and Quest.
• Experience with identity migrations, cloud transitions and enterprise identity modernisation.
• Knowledge of Micro Focus Enterprise Server.
• Experience in IT operations, service governance, risk management and technical delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and reporting skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Professional proficiency in English (C1 level preferred).
