This is an exciting opportunity to join Deloitte Operations for an engagement with one of our clients.

The Role

We are seeking a skilled and collaborative Core Tech (DevOps) Team member to help establish and maintain the tooling, pipelines, environments, and engineering standards that support efficient and controlled delivery across the programme.

About the Role

This role will focus on enabling delivery teams through robust DevOps capabilities, including CI/CD tooling, infrastructure-as-code, environment automation, access controls, monitoring, and reusable engineering templates. You will work closely with architecture, engineering, testing, and operations teams to ensure the capability is well documented, controlled, and ready for ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities

·Establish and maintain DevOps tooling, repositories, pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code.

·Define and support engineering standards across delivery teams.

·Provide reusable CI/CD templates and environment automation.

·Implement and manage access controls and monitoring capabilities.

·Offer guidance and support to delivery teams using Core Tech DevOps services.

·Work across architecture, engineering, testing, and operations to manage the team backlog.

·Produce and maintain agreed artefacts and documentation.

·Resolve delivery issues and ensure capabilities are controlled and ready for ongoing support.

Experience & Skills Required

·Strong experience in DevOps tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.

·Experience with infrastructure-as-code and environment management.

·Understanding of access controls, monitoring, and engineering governance.

·Ability to create reusable templates and standards for delivery teams.

·Strong collaboration skills across technical and operational stakeholders.

·Experience maintaining documentation, artefacts, and support readiness.
