Main Responsibilities Participate in the planning, design, and optimization of the IP transmission network to support connectivity and capacity demands Ensure the reliability and availability of the IP transmission network Lead and actively participate in company projects related to the transmission network Define end-to-end connectivity parameters between network elements Maintain up-to-date documentation of the IP network infrastructure Requirements Education, qualification and personal experience: University degree in Telecommunications or a related field Strong interest in new technologies and continuous self-development Proven experience in planning and architecture of transmission networks Experience in IP network operations, including data center networks, routing, switching, LAN, VPN, etc. Experience in network security operations, including Next-Generation Firewalls, security policies, and network devices security hardening Experience in leading projects in the field of transmission networks At least 5 years of experience in an ISP and/or telecommunications environment Relevant network technical certifications are considered an advantage Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Very good command of English (both written and spoken) High level of integrity and reliability Specific knowledge and abilities: Solid knowledge of network technologies and protocols, including: TCP/IP, Routing (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS), Data Center SDN architectures, LAN (VLAN, VXLAN), VPN, etc. Hands-on experience with Next Generation Firewalls (NGFW), including design, deployment, and operations; good understanding of security policies, traffic inspection (L3–L7), VPN technologies, threat prevention features (IPS, anti-malware), and network segmentation in enterprise environments Experience in preparing planning and design documentation for transmission projects, including High-Level and Low-Level Design (HLD/LLD) and testing procedures Advanced user of Microsoft Office products Familiarity with Linux environments and/or cloud computing technologies is considered an advantage Basic hardware knowledge Personal characteristics: Results oriented, team-player Correct and committed to the company strategy Fast learner with strong ability to keep strict documentation on its activities Work-conditions & benefits: Positive workplace culture where you would receive all the support you need from your peers and managers in order to achieve your personal and team goals Preferential prices for mobile devices and accessories Unlimited mobile services and mobile internet Flexible working hours Possibility for remote work Monthly food vouchers Transportation allowance Additional health insurance Up to 25 days paid leave Only short-listed candidates will be contacted.
