Your contribution!

Reporting to the Director of Procurement - Operations, the Corporate Buyer is responsible for the day-to-day management of administrative activities related to the company’s procurement. Working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and various stakeholders, the Corporate Buyer ensures the accuracy of purchase requests, processes purchase orders, tracks approvals, and resolves discrepancies.

Your day-to-day!

  • Process and track purchase requests from the various business units.
  • Verify the accuracy of the information submitted and assist applicants with any necessary adjustments.
  • Create, edit, and track purchase orders in the ERP system.
  • Coordinate approvals and follow up as necessary with the relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain close communication with suppliers and internal customers to ensure that procurement activities run smoothly.
  • Participate in requests for quotes and the analysis of bids as needed.
  • Track the receipt of goods and services and help resolve discrepancies.
  • Work with the accounting team to resolve issues related to billing and purchase orders.
  • Help create and update supplier records.
  • Create and maintain product records, catalogs, and price lists in the ERP system.
  • Develop expertise in procurement processes and tools to support internal users.
  • Produce reports, key performance indicators (KPIs), and analyses to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure compliance, data quality, and the efficiency of administrative processes.

Your skills, our requirements!

  • Bilingualism (French and English, both spoken and written) is required to facilitate ongoing collaboration with various stakeholders outside Quebec.
  • DEC (College degree) in administration or a related field.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a similar role.
  • Experience with an ERP system (experience with Oracle is a plus).
  • Excellent skills with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong skills in coordination, administrative follow-up, and data management.
  • Excellent communication and internal customer service skills.
  • Analytical mind, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.

Additional considerations!

  • The position is based at the company's head office in Longueuil, steps away from the Longueuil-Université de Sherbrooke metro station.

  • This position is a P2 level.
