About the Role PubNub is looking for an experienced Corporate Counsel focused on technology transactions to partner with our legal team on a B2B contract basis, working remotely from Poland. Working closely with the General Counsel, this engagement will primarily focus on commercial and technology-related contracts, while also contributing across a broad range of legal matters including licensing, privacy, compliance, data security, corporate matters, and international operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a business-oriented attorney who enjoys working independently, collaborating cross-functionally, and supporting a fast-growing global technology company. What You’ll Do Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of technology and commercial agreements, including SaaS agreements, vendor agreements, reseller and partnership agreements, NDAs, and other commercial contracts Partner closely with internal stakeholders across Sales, Product, Compliance, IT, Finance, Marketing, and executive leadership Support legal aspects of product and service evolution, launches, and go-to-market initiatives Contribute to the development and improvement of legal processes, templates, and operational workflows Assist with privacy and regulatory compliance matters, including GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and related frameworks Support ongoing compliance initiatives related to ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certifications Help identify legal and operational risks while providing practical, business-focused guidance Stay informed on evolving legal developments impacting SaaS, technology, AI, privacy, and international business operations What We’re Looking For Law degree with strong academic credentials Qualified lawyer and active membership in a recognized bar association 8+ years of legal experience in the technology sector, either in-house or at a law firm Strong experience handling technology transactions, SaaS agreements, licensing, and commercial contracts Understanding of software products, cloud services, and technology business models Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work Comfortable working independently while collaborating across distributed global teams Technologically proficient and interested in leveraging AI-enabled legal and productivity tools responsibly and effectively Intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging technologies Nice to Have Experience supporting international technology companies Familiarity with security and privacy compliance frameworks Experience supporting sales and procurement negotiations Prior exposure to startup or high-growth environments Why Join PubNub?
