OneTalent is recruiting a Corporate Finance & Valuation Manager for a leading international FMCG Group with a portfolio of well-established brands and an ambitious transformation agenda.
Based at the Group's Head Office in Barcelona, this role combines advanced financial modelling and valuation with strategic business analysis, contributing to key financial decisions and long-term value creation.
Context:
The Group is undergoing a significant transformation, evolving its business portfolio, organizational structure and exploring new opportunities for organic and inorganic growth.
Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director, you will work closely with Group & Busines Units, Strategy and Finance teams, and Corporate Development to translate strategic priorities into financial outcomes.
The position combines approximately 50% hands-on financial modelling and 50% business analysis, requiring technical excellence and strong business judgement.
What You Will Do:
a) Strategic Financial Planning & Value Creation:
- Support the development and maintenance of the Group's 3–5-year value creation plans,translating strategic priorities into financial outcomes
- Assess the impact of strategic initiatives on EBITDA, cash flow, capital requirements and value creation.
- Challenge key business assumptions through scenario and sensitivity analyses.
b) Valuation & Financial Modelling:
- Build and maintain financial models, including DCF, valuation multiples, WACC and other key valuation methodologies.
- Play a central role in the Group's annual valuation process, collaborating with external financial advisors.
- Analyze key drivers of enterprise and equity value, translating financial results into actionable business insights.
c) Leverage, Capital Structure, and Shareholders Returns:
- Build and maintain cash flow, leverage and capital structure to assess financing needs and alternative funding scenarios.
- Assess the financial impact of potential acquisitions, divestments and strategic transactions alongside Corporate Development.
- Support long-term incentive plans, including value creation calculation and related governance
- Develop shareholder return analyses and benchmarking
Who We're Looking For:
Requirements:
- Around 8–10 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Valuation or Corporate Development, with the autonomy to manage complex financial analyses.
- Background in Big Four Valuation/Corporate Finance or Corporate Development within a multinational. Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory or Strategy Consulting profiles with strong financial modelling expertise will also be considered.
- Excellent hands-on financial modelling and valuation skills, including DCF, long-term financial planning, cash flow forecasting and sensitivity analysis.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, leverage, capital structure and key business value drivers.
- Ability to interpret financial models, challenge assumptions and translate complex analyses into business recommendations.
- Advanced Excel skills and interest in AI-powered financial analysis tools.
- Fluent English.
Experience in FMCG is valued but not essential.
