Join us as a Corporate Relationship Assistant This is a chance to join a busy and growing business area in RBS International and help manage a portfolio of Institutional Banking customers, providing excellent customer service throughout the customer’s journey We’re looking for a team player to build and maintain good commercial relationships across the bank and with our clients You’ll be delivering exceptional customer service and generating new business from selected customer relationships This is an opportunity to get great exposure across the business with regular client interaction, team working and the opportunity to contribute at meetings You’ll work from home some of the time, but you’ll also spend a significant amount of time working from our Guernsey office If you want to work with us in Guernsey and you don't already live here, you'll need to clearly state in your CV that you have the right to live and work in your chosen location to be considered for this role We’re offering this role on a nine month basis What you'll do In this key role, you’ll act as a contact for a portfolio of clients , processing customer instructions and requests. You’ll be inputting customer information onto our systems accurately and in a timely manner and acting in accordance with regulatory requirements and standards. We’ll look to you to make sure that the correct policies and procedures are followed at all times. In addition we’re looking for someone to generate new business through relationships with both prospective and existing clients. You’ll also be expected to support management, as directed by senior colleagues, in achieving the agreed targets through the development of client relationships and quality customer referrals. You’ll also make sure that all client queries are dealt with in an accurate and timely manner. You’ll also be: Supporting managers to achieve growth targets Maintaining and updating client records to show any changes in their status Working as part of a unified team and supporting other team members Making sure that bad debts are kept to a minimum The skills you'll need To excel in this role, you’ll need to have experience of providing superior customer service. You’ll also need excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with colleagues. We’re also looking for someone with good numeracy skills and a strong educational background, preferably with a degree. You’ll also be expected to have: Bookkeeping or accounting experience with knowledge of business applications Good problem solving and decision-making skills An awareness of risk in a financial environment Good credit skills with strong levels of accuracy The ability to work unsupervised with strong levels of accuracy Hours 35 Job Posting Closing Date: 31/07/2026 Ways of Working:Hybrid
