Description

Within the Managed Services department, we provide end-to-end support for the financial, accounting, and tax processes of large companies and multinational clients. To strengthen our team, we are seeking an expert in accounting and tax reporting who will assist clients with their tax accounting, tax reporting, and Pillar 2 reporting processes.

In This Role, You Will

  • assist clients in preparing tax provisions and disclosures in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP, or local accounting standards;
  • support them in collecting data and performing calculations related to Pillar 2 (global minimum tax);
  • contribute to designing and improving their tax reporting processes and controls.


You will be responsible for key aspects of engagements, mentor junior staff, and work closely with your colleagues to provide high-quality services to clients’ finance and tax teams.

Main ResponsibilitiesPillar 2 (Global Minimum Tax)Projects and Process Improvement

  • Tax Accounting and Reporting
  • Prepare and review clients’ periodic tax provision calculations (current and deferred taxes) in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP, or local standards.
  • Prepare and review adjustments between the tax provision and the tax return (return-to-provision).
  • Perform effective tax rate reconciliations and analyze tax positions.
  • Assist in preparing tax disclosures for the consolidated and statutory financial statements.
  • Advise clients on complex tax accounting issues.
  • Assist clients in collecting the data necessary for Pillar 2 calculations and in assessing its quality.
  • Participate in Pillar 2 impact analyses and calculations of the effective tax rate by jurisdiction.
  • Contribute to the preparation and review of calculations related to GloBE income, covered taxes, and supplementary tax.
  • Assist in integrating the results of Pillar 2 calculations into tax accounting.
  • Design and implement improvements to clients’ tax reporting processes, internal controls, and governance frameworks.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of effective technological solutions for tax reporting, often integrated


Profile

  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in tax accounting, financial reporting, or corporate taxation, ideally at a multinational company or a Big Four firm.
  • Solid technical knowledge of corporate taxation and tax accounting in accordance with IFRS and/or US GAAP.
  • Initial experience with or a keen interest in BEPS 2.0 / Pillar 2 rules and their implications for accounting and tax reporting.


Skills

  • Strong analytical skills and a knack for numbers and accounting.
  • Ability to apply tax and accounting rules in a practical manner, taking client needs into account.
  • Interest in new regulations and data-driven calculations, particularly modeling related to Pillar 2.
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems and/or tax reporting tools is a plus.
  • Strong project and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for process simplification and automation.
  • Team player, proactive, and hands-on.
  • Fluent in English, which is the working language; a good command of Dutch and/or French is also desired.
  • Proficient in using AI tools, with a critical eye toward their application in daily tasks and teamwork.
