Corporate Tax Accountant

• The Offer: Salary: $1,800 USD / Month (Net)
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 15:00 – 23:00 CET (9am-5pm NY Time)
• Location: Remote (Work from Home)

The Opportunity:

We are recruiting for a US-based Law firm. We are looking for an ambitious Accountant who is detail oriented, and wants to build a career specializing in US Taxation & Accounting. You will work directly with the US team, gaining valuable experience with American tax laws and software.

Duties and Responsibilities

• U.S. Corporate and State Form Tax Preparation (Form 1120, Form 1065, and Form 1120-S)
• Assistance with IRS and State Notice Resolution
• Form 1099 Filing and W9 Assistance
• Monthly Coding in QuickBooks with Manual Journal Entries
• Creation of Bank Rules in QuickBooks
• Assistance with Accounting Cleanup Projects
• Minimal Accounts Payable and Payroll Assistance
• Ad-Hoc Accounting and Tax Projections

Qualifications

• Experience with QuickBooks Online, including transaction coding, bank feeds, reconciliations, and basic journal entries (or willingness to learn quickly).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• High level of attention to detail, particularly with data entry and financial documents.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and anticipate needs without constant direction.
• Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
• Basic understanding of corporate tax return structure (or willingness to learn quickly).
• Proactive communication and updates
