PMA is currently seeking a Cost Analyst for an exclusive assignment to work on a portfolio of high-profile utility projects. Our Cost Analyst position is an excellent entrée into project controls and project management.

The Cost Analyst supports data management, real estate tax administration, financial analysis, and process improvement initiatives. This role leverages analytics, reporting, and AI-driven automation to enhance operational efficiency, support decision-making, and streamline business processes.

Position Responsibilities 

  • Manage real estate tax, financial, and operational data, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Administer tax processing, payments, appeals support, invoices, and vendor-related activities.
  • Analyze large datasets to produce insights, trends, and actionable recommendations.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to improve visibility into key business metrics.
  • Drive process improvements through automation, AI-enabled solutions, and workflow enhancements.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support efficient execution of real estate operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 1+ Years of experience in some combination of real estate operations, financial analysis, or cost control.
  • Familiarity with real estate taxes and invoicing processes preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and interpret large datasets for document creation, data analysis, and developing dashboards and reports.
  • Advanced MSOffice skills including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and XLOOKUPs).
  • Experience with enterprise business systems and data reporting tools, including Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, SQL, and Excel.
  • Proficiency with Power BI or similar visualization platforms preferred.
  • This client maintains a drug-free workplace, which is essential to the health and safety of all employees and is required as a condition of certain federal agency contracts.     Additional Requirements
    Physical: Standing or sitting for long periods; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times and spend extended hours in front of a computer screen.
    Cognitive: Problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills; computer and software skills; and ability to read and interpret text online or in printed form.
