Executive recruitment agency Cake Global is recruiting on behalf of a respectable, well-regulated, and publicly traded global fintech broker. With a strong international presence and millions of active users, our client provides access to stocks, ETFs, forex, indices, and commodities via a proprietary digital trading platform and mobile app. As part of its aggressive APAC expansion, the company is establishing a compliant local entity to launch and scale operations in Hong Kong

We are seeking an entrepreneurial leader with a proven track record in entity setup, market entry, and commercial growth. In this high-impact role, you will navigate local regulatory frameworks to build a compliant foundation from the ground up, drive local strategic partnerships, and scale long-term market share

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Entity Setup & Compliance: Lead the end-to-end setup of the new local entity, ensuring 100% compliance with local financial market laws, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance in close collaboration with internal teams.
• Market Entry & Growth: Formulate and execute tailored market-entry strategies to build brand equity, drive customer acquisition, and scale regional trading activity.
• Strategic Partnerships: Source, negotiate, and manage high-value relationships with local financial influencers, content creators, media platforms, affiliates, and digital trading communities.
• Commercial Optimization: Monitor acquisition metrics, partner performance, and commercial KPIs to maximize revenue contribution and user conversion.
• Market Intelligence: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to deliver actionable localized insights to regional executive leadership

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience: 3–6 years of commercial leadership, business development, or partnerships experience within fintech, online trading, brokerage, or financial services.
• Setup & Regulatory Expertise: Hands-on experience navigating local market entry, setting up new operating entities, and a strong working knowledge of local Hong Kong financial regulations.
• Local Network: Deep familiarity with the local ecosystem, supported by existing relationships with relevant financial partners, media outlets, and trading communities.
• Commercial Acumen: Strong track record in negotiation, deal execution, and turning strategic partnerships into measurable revenue.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Languages: Cantonese and English, with Mandarin as a plus (Hong Kong).
