Working closely with Sales, New Business Analysts, and carrier partners, you will build censuses, run final quotes, install cases with carriers, and track cases from receipt through carrier approvals so brokers receive accurate, timely confirmation and no case falls through the cracks.
This is a remote role. Our teams are able to collaborate using video and screen sharing technology which means you'll feel like you’re part of the team while also enjoying the convenience of working from home.
Required Responsibilities:
- Monitors receipt of new and renewing cases
- Handles logging all cases in/out of internal systems; including, but not limited to Salesforce
- Handles data entry of new business and renewals in the carrier system
- Confirms Agent/Agency appointments on new cases
- Sends out any necessary appointments to Agent/Agency and follows up through completion
- Follows up with carrier to obtain carrier approval and policy number; communication of approved policy to the broker
- Assists in generation of carrier quotes
- Handles COBRA
- Maintains the standard operating procedures (SOPs) for censuses and installations
- Supports special projects and performs other duties as assigned
- Physical requirements include sitting, frequently speaking and hearing, and occasionally standing, walking, bending, crawling, kneeling and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years related administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Working knowledge of Salesforce
- Good understanding of group insurance and carrier procedures
- Knowledge of insurance sales submission requirements
- Clear written and verbal communication with internal teams, agents, brokers, and carrier representatives
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read, comprehend, and interpret enrollment, carrier, and other job-related documents
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills; ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
- Type a minimum of 30 words per minute
- Develop and maintain good relationships at all levels within the company and with agents, brokers, and/or carrier representatives
- Ability to build and maintain productive relationships at all levels and contribute to a positive team environment
The hourly base salary for this position is $22.00 - $23.00.
