Join the Global Supply Chain Systems (GSCS) Communications, Organization Change Management & Training team and help bring change to life for Ford’s global user community. You’ll plan and create communications, script and produce podcasts, develop and deliver training, and measure what’s working.
Turn complex change into communications, podcasts, and training that people want to engage with. Join Ford's Global Supply Chain Systems team to help our global purchasing and supply chain community feel informed, confident, and ready as new systems like I-ERP roll out.

What you'll do...
Your initial focus will be the I-ERP program, with opportunities to grow your impact as GSCS tools and processes expand into other areas, including FCSD and Indirect Purchasing. You’ll partner with Purchasing, IT, Learning & Development, subject matter experts, and GSCS leaders to turn technical topics into clear, compelling stories and useful learning experiences.
Plan and lead communications
* Develop communication strategies and plans for GSCS systems, programs, and initiatives, aligned with key milestones and strategic goals. Current work includes I-ERP.
* Build engagement strategies for each new global user group as GSCS tools expand into additional business areas.
* Write internal communications for Purchasing, cross-functional partners, and leaders.
* Review and strengthen team content for accuracy, consistency, and quality.
* Contribute to corporate engagement strategies and external and public communication strategies.
* Be a Content Creator; create stories people want to hear
* Create and manage newsletters for GSCS audiences.
* Lead scripting, guest coordination, and logistics for GSCS podcasts, including Tek Talks and I-ERP Minute, and help shape new content as the team’s scope grows.
* Use storytelling to make information clear, memorable, and inspiring.
* Help the team deliver engaging content across channels.
Design and Deliver Training
* Partner with subject matter experts to design, develop, and update GSCS systems and course curricula, including current I-ERP training.
* Lead interactive in-person and virtual training sessions and workshops for global audiences of employees and suppliers.
* Help develop non-technical online simulations; training on the tools will be provided.
* Format and update training materials and lead learning sessions such as Rapid Ready.
* Maintain a program glossary to keep terminology consistent across materials.
Measure and improve results
* Track, measure, and report communications and training KPIs across programs.
* Build and maintain the training tracking dashboard.
* Use feedback and survey results to make content and engagement even better.
* Keep the team connected and on track
* Manage SharePoint and create surveys in MS Forms.
* Monitor and respond to team mailboxes and manage Webex and MS Teams chats.
* Gather agenda items and lead team meetings.
* Develop and maintain weekly team deliverables.
* Support other critical initiatives and evolving priorities as directed by the GSCS Communications team and GSCS leadership.
What success looks like
* The right global audiences receive clear, timely communications across every supported program.
* Podcasts and newsletters are published on schedule and continue to grow their audiences.
* Training is engaging, up to date, completed on time, and measured with clear KPIs.
* New user groups, including FCSD and Indirect Purchasing, are prepared and supported as GSCS tools expand.
* Leaders have a clear view of engagement and training results.
* Team operations, mailboxes, and deliverables run smoothly and reliably.
You'll have...
* Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Media, Business, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience in corporate communications, marketing communications, media, or training.
* Excellent writing, editing, and scripting skills, with the ability to make technical topics easy to understand.
* Experience developing newsletters and podcast, video, or audio content.
* Experience developing and delivering training, both in person and virtually.
* Strong PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills, plus experience with SharePoint and online surveys.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple programs, priorities, and deadlines.
* Adaptability and the curiosity to learn new systems and business areas quickly.
* Confidence presenting to and collaborating with people at all levels, including leadership.
Even better, you may have...
* Experience hosting, producing, or scripting podcasts.
* Experience with instructional design, e-learning, or video-based learning tools such as Captivate, Camtasia, or similar platforms.
* Video, graphic, or multimedia production skills.
* Experience building KPI or training dashboards.
* Experience supporting enterprise system rollouts or change management communications.
* Experience working across multiple programs or business areas, or in global communications.
* Knowledge of supply chain, purchasing, automotive, or manufacturing.

This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $86,600-$144,900., This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $99,100-$166,200.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
