The Creative Director is responsible for the company’s internal and external creative and brand strategy. The right candidate will balance design chops with brand vision. Team leadership, cross-departmental collaboration, and the ability to complete design tasks are all foundational expectations. You should be open, thoughtful and constructive in giving and receiving feedback.

You should be adept at managing a team of creatives and leveraging AI to turn projects quickly and standardize high-quality output. Project management and prioritization are key parts of the role. Your work will cover the full spectrum of digital (landing pages, social media, banner ads, emails, digital newsletters, infographics, company resources, etc.) and print (one-pagers, flyers, direct mail pieces, etc.) creative, including brand and design evolution.

Portfolio required to move to the interview stage.

Qualifications

Remote position / Prefer candidate to be localized in Delray Beach, FL or surrounding area.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a creative leadership role, preferably within health care or related industries.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

CPR certification preferred.

KNOWLEDGE AND TRAINING REQUIRED AT TIME OF HIRE:

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in brand development and creative direction.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma or similar platforms
  • Excellent communication, project management, and team leadership skills
  • A deep understanding of brand systems, hierarchy, media, and creative execution at scale
  • Advanced illustration, layout, color theory, and typography skills
  • Conceptual thinking with a proven track record translating strategy into visually compelling, on-brand storytelling
  • Robust understanding of UX/UI/CRO best practices
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to uphold high-quality standards across multiple workstreams
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand building.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY TO POSITION

1. Onboarding and Integration
a. Familiarize with companies mission, values, services, and existing brand assets.
b. Build relationships with team members and key stakeholders.
2. Initial Assessment:
a. Conduct a thorough review of current branding and creative processes.
b. Identify immediate opportunities for improvement.
3. Understand company culture and brand positioning.
4. Actively engage in meetings and collaborative sessions.
5. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
6. Brand Story and Guide Development
a. Present a refined brand story that aligns with company goals and resonates with the target audience.
b. Complete the comprehensive brand guide and initiate its implementation.
7. Messaging Strategy
a. Develop a cohesive messaging strategy and begin applying it across key channels.
8. Process Improvements:
a. Implement enhancements to the creative services process to increase efficiency.
9. Booth and Print Strategy Revamp
a. Create designs and plans for the updated booth and print materials.
10. Deliver a compelling brand story and finalize brand guide.
11. Make visible improvements in the creative services workflow.
12. Receive positive feedback from the team on leadership and collaboration.
13. Progress on the development of revamped marketing materials
14. Ability to see the big picture and align creative efforts with organizational goals.
15. Inspire and guide the creative team to produce innovative work.
16. Clearly articulates ideas and strategies to diverse audiences.
17. Efficiently manages multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines
18. Work effectively across departments to achieve common objectives.
19. Respond positively to feedback and are open to change and new ideas.
