We’re looking for an experienced Creative Production Manager to join a fast-moving, dedicated creative studio supporting one of our key clients.
This is a hybrid role for someone who is equal parts designer and orchestrator. You’ll help manage the day-to-day flow of creative requests through the studio while also jumping directly into the work—designing, adapting, versioning, producing, and preparing creative for final delivery.
You should be a highly skilled designer, exceptionally organized, comfortable working directly with clients, and experienced managing multiple fast-turn projects at once. You know how to take an established brand system and execute it beautifully and consistently across digital, presentation, print, environmental, and production applications.
What You’ll Do
- Manage incoming creative requests from client intake through design, review, approval, production, and delivery.
- Translate requests into clear tasks, priorities, timelines, and deliverables for the studio team.
- Design, adapt, version, and produce polished creative across digital, presentation, print, environmental, and production applications.
- Work at an expert level in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, including image preparation, file construction, prepress, and production-ready artwork and PDFs.
- Review and QA creative work for accuracy, brand consistency, technical quality, and completeness.
- Prepare final files and coordinate with print, fabrication, and other production partners.
- Manage client feedback, revisions, approvals, and handoffs.
- Help monitor studio workload, deadlines, priorities, and available design capacity.
- Use AI-powered creative tools where appropriate to support design exploration, image and video generation, versioning, upscaling, and production efficiency. Prompting Generative AI models including GPT Image and Gemini Nano Banana, or using node-based workflow platforms such as Fuser would be beneficial.
- Communicate proactively with clients, designers, production partners, and other team members to keep work moving.
What We’re Looking For
You’re an experienced designer who also happens to be extremely good at organizing work and getting things done. You can move comfortably between managing a workflow, communicating with a client, reviewing another designer’s work, troubleshooting a production file, and opening Adobe Creative Cloud to execute the work yourself.
You bring strong design judgment, meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of how creative work moves from request to finished execution.
Most importantly, you take ownership—of the work, the process, and the quality of what ultimately gets delivered.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design, production design, creative production, or a related agency or in-house creative environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Strong production-design skills, including image preparation, file setup, prepress, and preparation of production-ready artwork and PDFs.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating excellent typography, layout, image, and visual design skills across a range of applications.
- Experience working within established brand systems and translating creative direction consistently across multiple formats and deliverables.
- Experience managing multiple creative requests, priorities, deadlines, and rounds of feedback in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of print and physical production processes and experience preparing files for outside vendors, fabricators, or production partners.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to confidently review and QA both your own work and the work of others.
- Comfortable learning and using project management, collaboration, and AI-powered creative tools as part of the daily workflow.
- Able to work independently, collaborate closely with a team, and remain calm and solutions-oriented when priorities or timelines shift.
Studio Schedule & Coverage
This role is part of a dedicated creative studio designed to provide responsive client support 365 days a year. Because of the nature of the work, the studio operates on a rotating schedule that includes non-traditional hours, weekends, and holidays.
Weekday coverage runs from 3:00–11:00 PM ET, with weekend shift coverage from 7:00 AM–3:00 PM ET and 3:00–11:00 PM ET. Team members rotate through these shifts as part of the studio coverage model rather than working every weekend.
Weekend and holiday availability is an important part of the role. Holiday shifts are shared across the team, with additional bonus compensation provided for holiday coverage.
The rotation is designed to balance consistent client coverage with predictable time off for studio team members.
