Creative Production Manager

What You’ll Do:

• Manage the end-to-end production workflow for eCommerce creative assets, including White Background and Lifestyle photography and 3D scans, from product readiness through final asset delivery.
• Coordinate production schedules, resourcing, and work allocation based on product priorities, production volume, team capacity, and business requirements.
• Set projects up for success in project management software, ensuring the appropriate assignees, inputs, documentation, timelines, and project information are in place.
• Establish clear workflows, handoffs, and communication between local production teams, global Creative teams, and external partners.
• Ensure project requirements, priorities, timelines, and potential issues are clearly communicated and that projects are delivered on time and to specification.
• Build strong working relationships across Photography, Creative Direction, CGI, Production Management, Technical Product Development, Inbound Logistics, Sourcing, and external partners.
• Serve as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for Creative Production operations in Vietnam.
• Track production performance and identify recurring challenges, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and continuously improve scalable processes, workflows, tools, templates, and documentation to increase production quality, efficiency, communication, and capacity.
• Maintain regular onsite presence at the Vietnam Photo Studio in Tian Dien, located approximately 30 minutes from Article HQ, and participate in weekly meetings with international teams across PST time zones.

• Coordinate product availability and readiness throughout the creative production lifecycle, including product receipt, storage, preparation, movement, return, and final disposition.
• Maintain accurate inventory tracking and visibility of products and props to ensure items are accounted for and available according to production schedules.
• Partner closely with Sourcing, Technical Product Development, logistics partners, and other cross-functional teams to proactively identify and resolve product availability, delivery, damage, defect, production, and inventory issues.
• Establish and continuously improve processes for inventory tracking, product check-in/check-out, and sample management.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accurate product records and proactively minimize unnecessary storage costs.
• 20% travel required, primarily for local travel to the Vietnam Photo Studio

• Manage day-to-day creative production budgets and spend, ensuring costs remain aligned with approved budgets, agreed rates, scopes, and production requirements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and track production-related costs, purchase orders, invoices, and vendor payments.
• Review vendor invoices for accuracy and ensure expenses are appropriately recorded and reconciled.
• Provide a regular budget and spend reporting to management.
• Proactively identify potential cost overruns, communicate risks, and recommend solutions to keep production on track and within budget.
• Build effective working relationships with external production partners and vendors to support strong service levels, efficient execution, and continuous improvement.

Who You Are:

• 2+ years of professional experience in creative production. Experience working in eCommerce creative production is strongly preferred.
• You understand the high-volume, repeatable, and deadline-driven nature of eCommerce photography and its unique production workflows and deliverables.
• Strong understanding of creative production processes, particularly photography; knowledge of 3D/CGI workflows is an asset.
• Proven experience managing production schedules, timelines, budgets, vendors, and project deliverables.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time-management and prioritization skills.
• Proactive and solutions-oriented, with the ability to identify problems, make informed decisions, and keep projects moving with limited oversight.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with teams and stakeholders across different functions, regions, and time zones.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience developing or improving creative production workflows, processes, templates, tools, or workflow automation is an asset.
• Experience in the furniture, home décor, or related industry is an asset.
• A diploma or degree in Creative Production, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
• Comfortable with regular local travel to the Vietnam Photo Studio and occasional meetings aligned with PST working hours.
