Automaite is a performance marketing agency generating leads on a cost-per-lead model across home services, insurance, finance, and consumer protection verticals. We buy media on all major social platforms, and our business runs on one thing: creatives that convert profitably at scale.
We're a lean team with a clear creative system, where every test is measured against real lead cost and ROI.
You'll join as our second Creative Strategist, owning script ideation and writing for a set of verticals, briefing our editors, and using testing data to decide what to make next. We're looking for a mid to senior level writer who knows direct response and is open to adopting our internal processes.
- Write high volume direct response video scripts: new concepts, hooks, and bodies
- Plan iteration batches on winning ads, testing specific creative levers
- Research each vertical's audience, pain points, and competitors to find new angles
- Write within strict buyer and platform compliance rules
- Brief video editors and AI production tools with clear, buildable direction
- Review testing results with media buyers and decide what to kill, iterate, or scale
- Consistent weekly script output across your verticals
- A strong hit rate of tested creatives that become winners
- Producing a high volume of new creatives to keep pace with ongoing testing and scaling demand
- 2+ years writing direct response scripts for paid social, ideally in lead gen
- Native-level English
- Strong grasp of hooks, angles, and iteration vs new concept testing
- Comfortable letting performance data (CPL, ROI) overrule opinion
- Experience writing under compliance constraints
- Full-time availability with overlap with Eastern Time
- Experience in regulated or sensitive verticals
- Hands-on experience with AI video and writing tools
