About Uniquely Digital
Uniquely Digital is a U.S.-based digital advertising agency focused on helping clients achieve measurable growth. We combine strategy, paid media, creative, and analytics to build campaigns that don't just look good, they perform.
We're looking for an experienced Creative Strategist based in Latin America to own creative strategy and execution across our client portfolio.
This is not a role for someone who only develops concepts or writes briefs. We need someone who can take a campaign from brief through execution, make strong creative decisions independently, use performance data to improve the work, and ensure everything we put in front of a client meets a high standard.
The Role
You'll own the creative process from the moment a Brand Manager hands you a brief through final internal creative approval. You'll turn campaign strategy into complete creative systems: concepts, hooks, copy, static ads, video direction, variations, landing pages, and testing opportunities.
You'll direct designers, editors, copywriters, and other creative resources, but you'll also execute directly, particularly with AI image and video tools when speed, scale, or testing makes that the better approach. You'll make the final internal creative call before work reaches our clients.
U.S. Culture & Consumer Fluency
This is especially important for this position. You don't need to live in the United States, but you do need to understand it. Most of the advertising you create will be seen by American consumers.
You should be highly comfortable with:
- Writing natural, persuasive American English, including conversational ad copy, not just grammatically correct English
- Understanding U.S. consumer behavior, purchasing motivations, objections, and expectations
- Recognizing when language sounds natural to Americans versus translated, overly formal, or culturally "off"
- Understanding U.S. social media culture across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Meta, Reddit, and emerging platforms
- Recognizing U.S. cultural references, trends, humor, creators, brands, and internet culture
- Understanding differences among U.S. audiences by generation, demographic, and purchase behavior
- Knowing when an ad feels native to an American feed versus traditional advertising, and when a brand shouldn't be forced into a trend
We're less interested in where you learned this fluency than whether you genuinely have it. Expect U.S. cultural and creative judgment to be part of our interview process.
Who Thrives in This Role
You're low-ego, curious, decisive, and fast-moving. You care about craft, but you care even more about whether the work moves the client's business. You're comfortable having a strong point of view, testing it quickly, and changing direction when the data says to. You know the difference between work that needs to ship fast and work that deserves more polish.
Most importantly, you're comfortable owning the decision. You don't need a senior creative leader to approve every headline, image, or concept. You can make those calls and explain your reasoning.
What You'll Own
Creative Strategy & Expansion
- Expand Brand Manager briefs into complete creative sets: concepts, hooks, copy, captions, headlines, formats, and variations
- Develop creative across Meta, Google Display, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube/CTV, and other paid channels
- Plan and direct structure for kinetic and short-form video
- Identify new formats and testing opportunities based on vertical, objective, competitive research, platform trends, and performance data
Creative Direction & Quality Control
- Direct our design team on hero, brand-critical, and bespoke creative
- Review work against the brief, objective, brand standards, and placement, and give specific, actionable revision feedback
- Own final internal creative approval before work reaches the client, independently and without routine sign-off from leadership
Hands-On AI Creative Production
AI is part of our production workflow, not an occasional experiment. You'll personally:
- Create static assets and variations with OpenAI image models, Gemini/Nano Banana, and comparable tools
- Create and iterate video concepts with Higgsfield and other emerging AI video platforms
- Rapidly produce variations for testing and custom imagery when stock isn't sufficient
- Know when AI execution is appropriate, and when a brand-critical asset belongs with a designer
We need someone who actually uses these tools to create work, not someone who has only managed others using them.
Copy & Messaging
You'll own copy quality across all creative output. You'll decide whether to write it yourself, develop it with AI, or route it to a copywriter, and you'll review everything regardless of source. This includes hooks, headlines, paid-social copy, video scripts, captions, CTAs, end cards, landing-page messaging, and test variants.
Image & Video Sourcing
You'll choose the best visual source for each assignment (client assets, stock, AI imagery or video, custom design, or UGC/creator-style content) based on the creative objective, not habit.
Direct email creative structure and content, and identify repeatable frameworks and templates that reduce production time.
Landing Pages & Instapage
This is an important part of the role. You'll own Instapage structure and maintenance, keep pages functional as offers and campaigns change, develop effective wireframes and content flows, and proactively find ways to improve conversion.
Channel Standards
Maintain creative standards across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Google Display, YouTube, CTV, email, and landing pages, staying current on formats, dimensions, safe zones, copy conventions, and platform best practices.
Performance Feedback Loop
Creative doesn't end at launch. You'll use performance data to understand which hooks, concepts, formats, and messages are working and what to test next. Then you'll turn those insights into stronger creative and deliver clear performance recaps to Brand Managers.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years in performance creative, paid social, digital advertising, or a closely related discipline
- Experience serving U.S. brands, U.S. consumers, or U.S.-based agencies
- Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to write natural American advertising copy
- Experience owning creative end-to-end for at least one client account as the primary creative strategist
- Experience taking work from concept through execution as both strategist and writer
- Ability to clearly brief and direct designers, editors, copywriters, creators, and partners
- Strong direct-response instincts and experience turning performance data into new concepts and tests
- Strong copywriting, editing, and visual judgment (hierarchy, composition, messaging)
- Hands-on experience with AI image- and video-generation tools
- Experience with Instapage or a comparable landing-page builder
- Working knowledge of platform-specific creative specs and constraints
- Confidence making final creative decisions independently, and recognizing when a brief is incomplete
- CTV creative experience is a plus
What Matters More Than Your Location
We're intentionally opening this role to talented people throughout Latin America. We're not looking for someone to imitate an American accent or pretend to be from the U.S. We want someone who has spent enough time marketing to U.S. consumers to understand the market intuitively. That means knowing when wording feels unnatural, why a hook will resonate, and how to turn performance data into the next strong idea.
How We Work
We're a remote team that values:
- Ownership: if it's in your area, you own it
- Speed: we don't confuse perfectionism with quality
- Judgment: processes matter, but so does knowing when to deviate
- Performance: great creative should produce business results
- Curiosity: platforms, tools, and AI change fast, and we keep learning
- Low ego: good ideas come from anywhere, and data sometimes proves our favorite idea wrong
How to Apply
Please include examples of performance-oriented creative you've developed for U.S. audiences, especially paid social. Show us: the objective → your creative thinking → what you created → how it performed → what you learned or changed next.
Please also include examples of hands-on AI image or video work you've produced.
Finalists will complete a practical creative exercise evaluating creative strategy, copywriting, performance thinking, AI execution, and U.S. cultural fluency.
Compensation
This is a full-time, remote contract position paying $3,000–$4,500 USD per month, depending on experience.
