Specialty Dental Brands | Fully Remote

At Specialty Dental Brands (SDB), we’re more than a dental support organization—we’re a community dedicated to helping our practices, providers, and patients thrive. By partnering with pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, and oral surgery practices across the country, we empower our teams with the technology, resources, and support they need to make a meaningful impact every day.

We’re excited to welcome a Credentialing Support Administrator (CSA) to our team! If you enjoy organizing details, solving problems, and helping others navigate important processes, this fully remote opportunity offers a meaningful way to support our doctors and the communities they serve.

What You’ll Do

You’ll provide administrative and operational support for provider credentialing, insurance enrollment, recredentialing, tax identification number (TIN) changes, and ongoing payer maintenance. Working closely with our Credentialing Specialists, you’ll prepare documentation, track progress, follow up with payers, and keep accurate records that help move applications toward successful enrollment.

Your thoughtful communication and follow-through will help our providers and practice teams feel informed and supported throughout the process.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare application materials: Draft credentialing and recredentialing applications, provider updates, termination letters, TIN change letters, and related enrollment documents.

  • Support complete, accurate submissions: Review applications and compile supporting documentation to help applications move through payer review successfully the first time.

  • Follow up with payers: Conduct biweekly follow-up after submissions, obtaining application updates, reference numbers, contact information, and submission outcomes.

  • Track progress: Maintain work order status reports, application trackers, internal systems, and dashboards.

  • Keep detailed records: Document every payer interaction thoroughly and maintain organized credentialing files and supporting records.

  • Review payer rosters: Perform monthly reviews to confirm the accuracy of provider, location, and TIN information.

  • Manage daily priorities: Review assigned work queues and dashboards each day and complete tasks within established turnaround times.

  • Raise issues promptly: Escalate delays, enrollment concerns, and requests for additional information to the Credentialing Specialist.

  • Support team projects: Assist with new provider onboarding, acquisitions, payer roster updates, TIN changes, and other credentialing initiatives.

  • Help the team follow through: Support Credentialing Specialists with administrative tasks and outstanding work orders.

  • Protect confidential information: Follow HIPAA, privacy, and confidentiality requirements when handling provider and practice information.

  • Contribute to quality: Participate in quality reviews and audits while supporting departmental productivity and accuracy standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in credentialing, provider enrollment, payer relations, healthcare administration, or administrative support.

  • Dental or revenue cycle management experience is a plus.

  • Familiarity with credentialing applications, payer processes, provider rosters, or TIN updates is helpful.

  • Strong organizational skills and careful attention to detail.

  • Clear, professional, and friendly written and verbal communication.

  • Comfort using Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel, and learning new systems.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote environment.

  • Sound judgment when handling sensitive and confidential information.

What Makes You Successful:

  • You take pride in the details. You understand that accurate information and complete documentation help keep the process moving.

  • You follow through. You stay on top of outstanding items and make sure next steps receive attention.

  • You communicate with care. You help providers, payers, and teammates feel informed and respected.

  • You ask thoughtful questions. You’re comfortable seeking clarification and recognizing when an issue needs additional support.

  • You enjoy being part of a team. You share updates, offer help, and celebrate progress together.
