Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Credit Clerk on a full-time temporary basis (term up to 12 months).
This position is a hybrid opportunity based in Saskatoon, SK. Members of this team are currently coming into the office one day a week.

What you’ll do:
- Create and maintain customer and location accounts, including customer master file information, banking details, and account updates.
- Manage credit applications from documentation through decision, including reviewing Equifax credit reports, approving applications within established authority, and escalating exceptions as required.
- Process and apply customer payments, including EFTs and cheques, and prepare bank and electronic deposits.
- Respond to internal and external customer inquiries through department email and phone channels, providing support and directing inquiries as needed.
- Complete credit administration activities, including Equifax requests, journal entries, debit and credit memos, payment records, and account maintenance.
- Review Equifax credit reports and independently approve qualifying credit applications up to $5,000 based on established criteria, escalating applications outside these parameters to the Credit Supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned.

The Team: You will work as part of the Credit team, reporting to the Credit Supervisor. You’ll collaborate with team members, internal departments, local Co-ops, and external customers to support credit administration, payment processing, and customer inquiries.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Finance and:
Have a high school diploma plus an introductory accounting course from an accredited post-secondary institution; or
Have a high school diploma and one year of relevant accounting experience. Preference will be given to candidates with experience related to the applicable functional area.
