Credit & Collection Senior Analyst

Location: Bucharest, Romania (city-center office, near Parcul Tineretului)

Main Purpose of the Job: The Credit & Collection Senior Analyst develops and implements the credit strategy for lending products, incorporating new systems, risk strategies and policies, data modeling, scorecards, acceptance processes and credit management rules within the parameters of the credit policy. The role ensures compliance with policies, procedures and best-practice guidelines, and adherence to the responsible lending process in line with the Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principle, while managing portfolio monitoring and new acquisition processes.

Job Profile:

• Develop and implement the credit strategy for lending products, to support sound and sustainable business growth.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and best-practice guidelines, so that lending activity remains within approved risk parameters.
• Develop creative approaches to customer segmentation and new product development, to improve portfolio performance and market fit.
• Manage portfolio monitoring and new acquisition processes, to maintain visibility over risk and growth across the lending book.
• Support and incorporate new systems, risk strategies and policies, data modeling, scorecards, acceptance processes and credit management rules, to keep the credit policy framework current and effective.
• Use, maintain and improve the application evaluation systems used in lending operations, to ensure accurate and efficient credit decisioning.

Candidate Profile:

• Team-oriented, with a social profile that balances technical rigor with diplomacy.
• Analytical mindset, with the ability to detect anomalies in datasets and anticipate potential problems.
• Ability to translate technical and mathematical data into simple, accessible language.
• Experience in credit risk assessment is an advantage.
