Credit Officer

Responsibilities

• Analyse professional credit applications for SME and business clients in Belgium and Luxembourg.
• Perform detailed financial and balance sheet analysis using AS400.
• Assess credit risks and support credit decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to improve credit processes and procedures.
• Communicate with customers and partners, providing advice and support.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of relevant credit analysis experience.
• Strong expertise in balance sheet analysis and extensive knowledge of AS400.
• Experience in credit decision-making and process improvement.
• Fluent in Dutch and French; good knowledge of English.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical, commercial, and customer-service skills.
• Precise, stress-resistant, responsible, and able to work independently and in a team.

Practical Details

• Location: Belgium, supporting BE and LU clients.
• Contract: Temporary.
• Work Arrangement: 50% onsite and 50% remote.
• Seniority: Medior/Senior.
• Availability: Immediate or short notice preferred.
