Credit Repair Specialist
- Work Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern Time
Location: Remote — Philippines
About the Company
We are a legal services company specializing in timeshare-related matters and consumer support. We are seeking an experienced Credit Repair Specialist to provide hands-on support throughout the credit repair process.
Important: Previous professional credit repair experience is non-negotiable for this position. This is not a sales role. You will be responsible for reviewing credit reports, identifying potentially disputable information, preparing and managing disputes, monitoring bureau responses, maintaining accurate client records, and communicating with clients throughout the process.
You will initially begin with zero assigned clients while learning our processes and demonstrating proficiency. As you become more comfortable with the role, you will progressively build your caseload, with the expectation of eventually managing approximately 100 active clients simultaneously.
Because client communication is primarily handled through email, strong written English, professionalism, and attention to detail are essential.
Responsibilities
- Credit Report Analysis: Review consumer credit reports from all three major credit bureaus and identify inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, or unverifiable information that may be eligible for dispute.
- Dispute Management: Prepare, submit, track, and manage credit dispute letters and supporting documentation.
- Bureau Follow-Up: Monitor dispute response timelines, review bureau responses, and determine appropriate next steps or follow-up actions.
- Derogatory Account Review: Work with credit reporting issues involving collections, charge-offs, late payments, repossessions, judgments, inquiries, and other derogatory items when appropriate.
- Client File Management: Maintain accurate and organized client files using Credit Repair Cloud or a similar credit repair platform.
- Documentation: Accurately document client activity, submitted disputes, bureau responses, follow-ups, and other relevant case information.
- Process & Compliance: Follow company SOPs and established procedures while maintaining awareness of applicable credit repair requirements, including FCRA and CROA.
- Client Communication: Communicate professionally and clearly with clients, primarily through email, providing appropriate updates throughout the credit repair process.
- Caseload Management: Gradually build and manage an active portfolio of clients, ultimately supporting approximately 100 clients simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and service quality.
Qualifications
- Experience: Professional, hands-on credit repair experience is required and non-negotiable. Candidates without direct professional credit repair experience will not be considered.
- Credit Report Knowledge: Demonstrated experience reviewing and analyzing consumer credit reports.
- Dispute Experience: Direct experience preparing, submitting, tracking, and following up on credit disputes.
- Credit Knowledge: Familiarity with collections, charge-offs, late payments, repossessions, judgments, inquiries, and other derogatory credit reporting.
- Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of the credit repair process and dispute lifecycle.
- Communication: Excellent written English and professional email communication skills.
- Organization: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining accurate client documentation.
- Compliance: Ability to learn, follow, and consistently apply company SOPs and applicable compliance requirements.
- Workload Management: Ability to progressively take on a high-volume client portfolio and eventually manage approximately 100 active clients.
Required Skills
- Credit Repair Expertise: Proven hands-on experience performing professional credit repair services.
- Credit Report Analysis: Ability to identify and evaluate potentially inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unverifiable credit reporting.
- Dispute Management: Experience managing disputes from preparation and submission through bureau responses and follow-up.
- Written Communication: Strong written English with the ability to communicate professionally and clearly with clients via email.
- Documentation: Excellent record-keeping, organization, and attention to detail.
- Independent Work: Ability to work autonomously, prioritize multiple client cases, and consistently follow established procedures.
- Process Compliance: Strong ability to follow SOPs and maintain accurate, compliant case documentation.
- Schedule: Ability to work consistently during Eastern Time Zone business hours.
Preferred Skills
- Experience using Credit Repair Cloud or similar credit repair software.
- Experience managing a large portfolio of active credit repair clients.
- Background in mortgage processing, underwriting, banking, loan servicing, or collections.
- Familiarity with FCRA and CROA requirements.
- Experience working in a high-volume, deadline-driven credit or financial services environment.
