We step in to reconfigure these systems or build new ones from the ground up, ensuring a single source of truth for our clients.
We are currently working with a partner, a Berlin-based technology firm, to organize their internal data and improve their reporting workflows. To support this engagement and our broader project list, we are hiring a CRM Data Assistant. This is a full-time, permanent position that is 100 percent remote. You will work alongside our senior consultants to ensure that the data entering our clients systems is clean, accurate, and useful.
About the role
In this role, you will be the primary support for maintaining the integrity of CRM data. While our senior consultants handle complex system architecture and configuration, they rely on clean data to make those systems function. A CRM system often becomes cluttered with duplicate records, outdated contact information, and inconsistent formatting. Your job is to help us clear that clutter and keep the database organized.
Because we operate as a fully remote team, you will have the flexibility to manage your tasks from your own workspace while staying connected through our project management tools. This position is a great entry point for someone who wants to understand how large companies manage their information and how professional consultants fix systemic data issues.
What you will do - Review CRM records to identify and merge duplicate accounts or contacts.
- Update client information based on recent documentation and outreach results.
- Assist in the migration of data from legacy spreadsheets into organized CRM fields.
- Audit data entries to ensure they follow our established naming conventions and formatting rules.
- Help create and update internal documentation and configuration guides for client handovers.
- Generate basic reports to track data health and completeness.
- Collaborate with consultants to verify that the single source of truth is maintained across different platforms.
- Flag inconsistencies or missing information that could impact financial reporting or sales tracking.
What we need from you
We are looking for someone who is organized and enjoys the process of turning messy information into clean, structured data. This is an entry-level role, so we do not expect you to be an expert in specific consulting frameworks, but we do need you to be comfortable working with numbers and text in a digital environment.
- A basic understanding of how databases or CRM systems work (even if through university projects or personal interest).
- High proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, specifically with sorting, filtering, and basic formulas.
- Strong attention to detail, you should be the kind of person who notices a typo or a formatting error immediately.
- A clear and direct writing style for updating documentation and communicating with the team.
- The ability to work independently in a remote setting and meet deadlines without constant supervision.
