What we need

Symbotic is seeking for a Project Manager, PMO to join our PMO team within our Project Execution organization. Your job will be to provide structure, visibility, and execution discipline for cross-functional initiatives that span multiple teams and functions.

You will maintain accurate project and portfolio information, coordinate deliverables, manage risks and dependencies, and provide clear reporting to stakeholders and leadership. The ideal candidate is a structured, detail-oriented project manager who can organize fragmented information and drive accountability in a fast-paced environment.

The PMO enables Symbotic’s Project Execution organization by building operating mechanisms that improve predictable delivery: standardized governance, cross-functional coordination, portfolio transparency, and continuous improvement. We accelerate execution by clarifying ownership, improving decision cycles, and deploying scalable systems and ways of working that help teams deliver on Symbotic’s organizational pillars - Deliver Budget, Elevate Talent, and Invest in Development.

What you'll do

• Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of cross-functional PMO initiatives, ensuring alignment with defined objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria.

• Lead assigned initiatives or workstreams and support larger enterprise programs under the direction of PMO leadership.

• Build and maintain project plans, action registers, issue logs, risk registers, dependency trackers, decision logs, and other project execution artifacts.

• Own PMO portfolio hygiene across Jira, Smartsheet, and Confluence, ensuring project information is accurate, complete, current, and structured for reporting.

• Partner with initiative owners and functional stakeholders to clarify scope, ownership, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and required decisions.

• Establish effective operating rhythms and create dashboards, status summaries, project trackers, and leadership-ready updates that clearly communicate progress, blockers, and next steps.

• Identify gaps in project data, documentation, ownership, reporting, and execution follow-through, and recommend practical corrective actions.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of project management, program coordination, operations, manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, construction, or cross-functional execution experience.

• PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or equivalent project management / continuous improvement certification preferred, but not required.

• Experience supporting cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders, functions, deliverables, risks, and dependencies.

• Working knowledge of project management fundamentals, including scope management, schedule tracking, risk and issue management, action tracking, dependency management, and stakeholder communication.

• Proficiency with Jira, Smartsheet, Confluence, Power BI, Excel, and Microsoft Office tools.

• Demonstrated ability to organize ambiguous information, develop executable plans, maintain accurate project data, and create clear visual reporting.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority and summarize complex information for
• stakeholders at different levels.

Our Environment

• Up to 25% of travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client locations and company HQ.

• Employees may be required to use a personal credit card for business travel expenses, which are reimbursed based on the program guidelines. Eligible employees may receive a corporate credit card based on role and travel requirements, but a personal credit card may be needed during onboarding until the corporate card is issued.

The base range for this position in the posted location is $101,000.00 - $138,600.00 however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, disability, 401K, PTO and/or other benefits.
