About the Role

The Crypto Portfolio Analyst will support digital asset research, portfolio performance analysis, and the evaluation of cryptocurrency investment strategies. The role combines financial analysis, market research, portfolio monitoring, and quantitative assessment to identify opportunities and risks across digital asset markets. Working alongside trading, research, and technology professionals, the analyst will evaluate cryptocurrency market trends, assess portfolio allocation strategies, and develop insights that support informed investment decisions. This position offers exposure to cryptocurrency trading, portfolio optimization, and emerging investment opportunities within the evolving digital asset ecosystem.

What You'll Do

• Analyze cryptocurrency portfolios, asset allocations, and investment performance across digital asset markets

• Monitor cryptocurrency price movements, trading volumes, market liquidity, and emerging investment trends

• Evaluate portfolio diversification strategies, risk-adjusted returns, and digital asset investment opportunities

• Conduct fundamental and quantitative research on cryptocurrencies, blockchain projects, and tokenomics

• Assess trading strategies, portfolio rebalancing methods, and market risk exposure

• Prepare portfolio performance reports, market research summaries, and investment analysis presentations

• Collaborate with research and technology teams to improve portfolio analytics, investment insights, and trading-related tools

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in portfolio analysis, investment research, cryptocurrency trading, financial analysis, or related fields

• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, digital asset investment strategies, and portfolio management principles

• Familiarity with portfolio allocation, performance attribution, risk management, and financial modeling

• Knowledge of cryptocurrency exchanges, blockchain analytics, tokenomics, and digital asset market indicators

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with Python or SQL is an advantage

• Excellent research, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work independently in a remote environment

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related discipline preferred; practical cryptocurrency investment or trading experience is an advantage

Compensation

JPY 8,500,000–10,500,000 per year in proposed gross base salary, depending on experience and qualifications.
