Role Description

Higgs Labs is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Crypto Portfolio & Risk Associate to research digital-asset markets, evaluate cryptocurrency investment opportunities, and assess portfolio risk across the evolving Web3 ecosystem. This role combines financial analysis, market research, and risk assessment to understand crypto market dynamics, evaluate asset performance, and identify potential risks and opportunities. The successful candidate will monitor volatility, analyze market trends, research tokenomics, and develop insights into portfolio diversification and digital-asset exposure. This position is suited to someone interested in cryptocurrency markets, portfolio strategy, and blockchain innovation who can translate complex market data into clear, actionable research. The role is remote, with Singapore as the designated location.

Responsibilities

• Research cryptocurrencies, digital assets, blockchain projects, and emerging Web3 investment opportunities.

• Monitor Bitcoin, Ethereum, major altcoins, NFT markets, and relevant digital-asset sectors.

• Analyze price movements, market volatility, liquidity, correlations, and portfolio performance.

• Evaluate tokenomics, asset fundamentals, market positioning, and long-term growth potential.

• Support portfolio allocation, diversification, exposure monitoring, and risk-management analysis.

• Identify potential downside risks, market concentration, liquidity constraints, and changing market conditions.

• Conduct research on DeFi protocols, token-based ecosystems, digital ownership, and emerging blockchain applications.

• Track macroeconomic developments, regulatory changes, and industry trends affecting cryptocurrency markets.

• Prepare portfolio reports, risk assessments, investment briefs, and market research presentations.

• Collaborate with research and strategy teams to identify opportunities and communicate data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis, investment research, portfolio analysis, risk management, or cryptocurrency markets is preferred.

• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, digital assets, and cryptocurrency market dynamics.

• Familiarity with portfolio diversification, asset allocation, volatility analysis, and risk-management principles.

• Knowledge of tokenomics, DeFi, NFTs, and emerging Web3 business models.

• Strong analytical, quantitative, and critical-thinking skills.

• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with financial modeling, Python, SQL, or data analytics tools is an advantage.

• Ability to interpret market data, assess investment risks, and communicate findings clearly.

• Excellent research, writing, and presentation skills.

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

• Degree or studies in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.

Compensation

SGD105,000–SGD135,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and the scope of the role.
